Now What?

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

John 3:16

If you are looking here, you are looking for something more. Something bigger than you and outside of you. You are looking for God. You will not find Him on a web page, or by mere religion. You must know that God desires to have a personal relationship with you. He loves you very much and wants you to come home to Him.  So, we encourage you to take the next step and come visit us. Let us help walk you through an understanding of what salvation in Christ looks like. We are not your salvation, Jesus is. The Bible teaches us we are saved by grace not through any human effort or religious ritual. The Bible also teaches that if you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and you surrender to Him, you will be saved. You must realize that we are all sinners, and we all need forgiveness. We must confess and repent of our sins to God and ask for His forgiveness. Once you do the journey begins. Are you ready to journey with us?

Get Connected

If you are looking for a church that takes the Great Commission to heart, you are looking in the right place. We try to serve in various ways that impact our city, our state, and our nation and even into the foreign mission fields. Come join us any Sunday at 10:30. Look for more information on the contact page!

Baptism

We believe baptism to be an outward expression of an inward event brought on by faith in Jesus Christ. We do not believe baptism as a means to salvation because there is no way that being immersed in Stockton city water by a man with a inherent sin nature can save you! Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ alone. We do not baptize infants or children who are too young to understand what they are doing because there is no point. We want baptism to be more than just some ritual. It is far too powerful and meaningful for that. If you are looking to be baptized, we will connect you with one of our deacons who will walk you through the understanding of the true meaning of baptism.

Small Groups

We have many smaller group settings available for anyone who wants to get closer to the folks of the church. We have a Men's group and Womens Group that meet once a month, Youth Group that meets every Thursday evening at 6, Bible studies on Sunday morning, Thursday afternoon and Thursday evening and a class on Wednesday nights on important Christian topics. These are perfect ways to connect to your new brothers and sisters!
